# Public

To connect StockHero to your Public account, you will need to generate a Secret Key in your Public account and paste this key in StockHero.

1. Log in to your Public account
2. Navigate to Settings >> Security >> API
3. Generate the Secret Key
4. Log in to your StockHero account and navigate to Settings >> Brokerage API.
5. Select Public and paste the Secret Key which you have obtained in step 3.
6. Click the "Add Brokerage" button
